Learn the simple steps for high-flying fun with this tutorial on five basic paper airplane patterns.
Whether you are looking for a quick diversion from the grind of adulthood or are teaching a youngster DIY skills, these planes are a great way to add a little levity to your day. Make sharp, thin edges with ruler.

2. Now, unfold the paper. Take the top two corners (blue edges) align with the central folded line (yellow line) making a triangle. Press the crease with ruler. Mark the edges green.

Dart Plane - 2
3. Then the paper will make an arrow. Point the arrow towards you (⤋) . You will see three vertices of a triangle and a square.

Dart Plane - 3
4. Take the two vertices adjacent to the square, take this two points (green lines) align with the central line (yellow line). Press and fold with ruler. The more precisely you will fold the creases, the more your airplane will fly ☺.
Now fold the paper in half along the previous central line (All the creases should remain inside the folds). Colour the edge purple.

Dart Plane - 4
5. Fold the wings outward and match to the central line (yellow line). Press and fold.

Dart Plane - 5
6. Attach a two-side tape inside the central fold and press. Make the paper plane firm and look like this.
