Bored of old template design and expensive cards at shop? Here is your solution. Make your own template and choose your favourite colour and design. Express your feelings in your own words. Find the creative you inside, so, let's get started.


Ingredients :

1. Cardstock paper
2. Any printed paper
3. Scale
4. Pencil
5. Scissors
6. Glue


Procedure :


1. Take a cardstock paper of 14*21 cms.

2. Divide the 21 cms length into 3 equal halves, i.e, 7cms each, and mark this on both sides.

3. Join this points and make two lines with pencil. Make clean dents with scale, dividing the paper into 3 halves. Name the 3 halves as A, B and C. B is the middle half.

4. Join the corners of part A and draw a straight line with pencil. Join the corners of part C and draw a straight line.

5. Fold at the diagonal lines. Make card with a twist. Write your message on B part. It will look like the one I have made for u.

Design and decorate it with printed paper, as you wish. Cut the printed paper taking measurements of each exterior triangle and paste. You can even create a paper lock so that the card doesnt open. 

6. Cut another piece of paper in the shape of your choice, any symmetric shape is better, example a heart. Divide it in two halves and attach on both ends of the diagonal triangles so that it gives you a full heart shape. Now, cut a square piece of paper. Make a slit in this square piece so that the heart makes a way through the slit. Your lock is ready.
